Owner and designer Sandra Paez doesn't push the tribute, though; a touch of exotic trim or a bright color are about as "Mexican" as her limited-edition skirts, dresses and other finery get. Unconcerned with ethnic flash, Paez says she aims for practicality and elegance in her work.
