    The annual Halloween Fun Fair takes place on Oct. 24 from 11am to 5pm. Kids of all ages, parents and caretakers are welcome to enjoy activities like face painting, a bouncy castle and slide, obstacle courses, spin art, pumpkin decorating, bean bag tossing and more. Some activities require purchasing an inexpensive ticket, with proceeds going to the Brownstone School. In case of rain, the event will take place at Holy Trinity Church (213 West 82nd Street).

The zoo is open from 10am to 5:30pm on weekends through Halloween.

    Join thousands of New Yorkers dressed as everyone from Harry Potter to Sarah Palin in the annual Halloween parade. The march begins at Sixth Avenue (just south of Spring Street) at 7pm, where musicians, dancers and regular marchers gather before heading north toward 21st Street. If you don't feel like walking, take your position somewhere along the route, or spectate from the comfort of your own home (NY1 will air the festivities live until 10pm).
