At this Murray Hill sports bar, you can watch the game while playing one: Bar 12's 20 plasma televisions allow you to keep track of your favorite team from any of the three beer pong tables. Sunday through Thursday, the neighborhood's many recent college grads can be found challenging each other to see whose alma mater has the right stuff.

Located in the frat-friendly Upper East Side, this New Orleans-themed bar offers a minimum of four huge tables every night. The sport has become so popular here that the bar's Web site even posts official rules and online registration for teams. Stop in on Wicked Wednesdays for $6 pitchers of Bud Light, and try not to be too distracted by the scantily clad wait staff.

If you stumble into this spot to play beer pong, there's a good chance you'll eventually be crawling out. Look for raucous Upper East Side revelers around the two beer pong tables in the back of the bar. Impromptu single elimination tournaments are the name of the game, but be sure to get on the sign-up list early: Sometimes the wait for a table can exceed close to a dozen games. Play for cheap on Mondays and Wednesdays with $8 pitcher specials.

Don't miss the once-a-week beer pong tourney at this true blue (or technically, NYU purple) college bar in the heart of the West Village. On Wednesdays, the usual duo of tables is expanded to five, and a $7 cover charge at the door gets you $1 pitchers from 7pm to 11pm. Once you've worked up an appetite, order a pint of Bud and an eight-ounce cheeseburger 'n' fries basket for $10--if you can finish the whole thing, your next pint's on the house.

Sink balls into beers at this steer-centric Texas bar in Hell's Kitchen. The saloon offers monthly prize tournaments and half-priced beer pong on four tables every Monday night. If someone tans your hide in the game, a few of Whistlin' Dixie's giant margaritas should help you cool your keister.
Wicked Willy's

The two beer pong tables located in the middle of this pirate-themed bar draw plenty of sexy spectators. Weekly tournaments include small cash prizes, plus potential entrance into national tournaments in which the prizes are as large as $25,000. In between games, the bar is meet-market city. Where else but a West Village pirate bar can you take home two types of booty in one night?
