The Manhattan Cocktail Classic kicks off on May 13 with an opening night gala at the NYPL, featuring 25,000 cocktails, food and a bunch of other things that don't matter as much as the part about the 25,000 cocktails. The Classic runs through May 17, with cocktail-centric events taking place throughout the city, from whiskey tastings at the Astor Center to "Stories from Behind the Bar" at top spots like Death & Co, Pegu Club and Employees Only. (Gala tickets are $150; prices vary for other events.)

Just when it seemed like this Brooklyn joint couldn't be any better, they've announced that they're now offering their scrumptious fried chicken in bucket form--that's right, fried chicken in a bucket is officially foodie-approved. Get 16 pieces for $35; add six biscuits and two large sides for $50; or get all that plus six drinks and a whole pie for $80. Spring never tasted so good.
