Editorial Review for Musashi's – by Citysearch Staff

In Short
This tiny Wallingford spot is jammed most of the time with a ravenous cluster waiting outside and frenzied double-parkers running in for carryout. It isn't all that easy to find inexpensive Japanese food in this town, but Musashi's delivers with flair. A skewer of grilled teriyaki beef, chicken or mixed vegetables goes for a dollar or two. Miso soup is a bargain and the sushi is fresh, plump and extremely affordable.

This has quickly become my favorite sushi place in Seattle. There is always a line (even before they open!), but it's worth the wait. The sushi is cheap, but it tastes much better than other comparably cheap sushi restaurants (e.g. Sushi Land). My favorites - Unagi, Salmon Nigiri, and Spicy Tuna Roll :). YUM!

Pros: Cheap, Delicious

Cons: Long wait for tables, street parking

so-so service, few tables, pretty good japanese food though. i got the sukiyaki bowl which was pretty tasty, and the cold salad was amazing.

Pros: tasty food

Cons: few tables, long lines at peak hours
