In Short – The rooftop cafe is the crown jewel of the city's largest museum, with its own rotating sculpture exhibits. Daytime affords a fabulous view of the park. Nightime is dreamy, with the towers of midtown as backdrop. If you happen to tire of looking outside, try heading inside the museum itself. You'll find the finest collection of American art in the world, a selection of ancient Egyptian art that rivals Cairo's and an amazing assortment of European paintings and sculptures.

Amazing!
by GautamCity81
This is by far, the best museum in all of New York City. You cannot take a trip to the Big Apple and not make a stop at the Met. They have the coolest exhibits I have ever seen. Gotta go through the Ancient Egyptian exhibit first, they have a chunk of an actual pyramid in there and you can walk through it! Even can see some mummified bodies! Also, don't forget to check out the Armors and Weapons exhibit on the top floor, its jaw-dropping! Definitely check it out if you haven't. If you've been there, they always have new and temporary exhibits as well. So definitely worth coming back to.
- Pros: Best and coolest exhibits
- Cons: Too big to do in one day
