Best Restaurant in NYC

As a regular of Bravo Gianni's for several years, I can assure you that your party will not be disappointed with your experience at this restaurant. Everything on the menu in outstanding, especially the seafood dishes and home-made pasta. The fantastic services add to the superb food and atmosphere. Gianni is a gracious host who will have you coming back time and time again.

Most gracious host, fabulous service and fantastico food!

If it's the best Italian cuisine 'experience' you're after, look no further. Enter the door and you are already transported: the always warm and wonderful Gianni graciously welcomes you into his little paradise. Have a seat at the bar for a treat when Dante's there tending and telling stories, or head right to your table - and you won't need a menu. "What do you feel like tonight? A little veal? A little fish?" The elegant and accommodating waitstaff work together seamlessly - it's ballet in dinner jackets. "You didn't eat enough - what would you like for dessert?". You will leave already planning your next visit.

An old school experience that is a must try. I echo the other reviews here regarding the attentive service, comforting feel, and wonderful food. Gianni's a great host.

Best Italian food in NYC

We have been going to Gianni's for a few years - along with so many other Italian restaurants in NYC. Gianni's is consistently terrific. The food is as good - I think better - than any other upscale Italain spot in Manhattan. The owner treats you well, you are never rushed and, he will make anything for you that you can think of. Although the restaurant has been around for some time, there is a reason for that. If you want great Italian food in a relaxing upscale setting you will find no better.

A true new york italian restaurant experience. If you have a feast on Christmas Eve at your home this is the place for you. The food was delicious and even better was the service and atmosphere. If your family is originally from The Bronx or Brooklyn and have moved to the 'burbs over the years this is the place to get back together with the family. Bring an appetite.
