Editorial Review for Shubert Theatre – by
This playhouse was named after one of the original Shubert brothers, Sam, who was killed in a train crash. Above the theater are the offices of the Shubert Organization and adjacent to the building is Shubert Alley, the heart of the Theater District. For an 11-year span the theater housed "A Chorus Line," one of those landmark shows that influenced a generation.

I saw Chicago here last week. I was really impressed with the view I got from row M or something. The seats are on the perfect angle so everyone in the orchestra has a good view. The rows are tight though, so there's not much legroom. I had to shift to one side or the other. The show sounded perfect though.
Pros: Shows, Sound
Cons: Legroom
