best off off broadway theatre.
Bond street is great. I was walking down Bond street and I found the Gene Frankel Theatre. My father saw a play directed by Gene Frankel called "The Blacks". He told me that after I moved into my new NYU dorm to look up The Gene Frankel Theatre. Which is exactly what I did. I found the funniest play there . . ."Where's Dorothy".
I had so much fun. The theatre and the play was everything I excepted New City City to be. I suggest if you are new to the NYC area or if you have never been to The Gene Frankel Theatre that you check it out immediately!
Great Off Broadway Theatre. We went to see a play is past December at The Gene Frankel Theatre called Dickens? ?A Christmas Carol? with 8 different theatre groups interpreting different chapters. This was so explosive! Ending with a fantastic David Bowie piece. The whole show was high energy. I have seen other shows at The Gene Frankel and I will certainly return for more.
