Still sick to my stomach..... I'm still sick from this disasterous meal. Do not eat here. To make matters worse, not only was the food terrible, but the staff was terrible too. DO NOT EAT HERE.

unexciting food. Another one of those cool hip places with good ambiance but rather unexciting food. Overpriced dishes that are more decorative than tasty. Went on a double date here. While the drinks and service where excellent the food just didn't justify the prices. Dinner for four $400 with drinks. With a price tag like that at least have something memorable on the menu.

Excellent Lunch. This is a great spot for a delicious lunch in a stylish setting with top-notch service. our server was wonderful and happily accommodated my request for a tasting of three different wines by the glass. i ordered the grilled octopus salad, the grilled fillet of salmon and finished with the hazelnut tart. everything was excellent. definitely worth a visit.

A midtown showcase of high-end American classics, served in a maze of luxurious rooms.. In Short
Expense accounts abound at this richly appointed classic. Lunch is crowded with high-heeled magazine editors and well-shod moneymen negotiating from leather banquettes; while in the private rooms, each uniquely decorated, the real deals surely go down. It's no surprise that the prices are dear and the menu is modern but masculine, reflecting an affection for classics such as foie gras, Caesar salad, steak and lobster. A 2007 renovation to the building's facade makes for an impressive glass-walled entrance.

Delicious food and a cozy, clubby atmosphere. I just adore this place. The food is consistently good--the short ribs melt in your mouth and the dover sole is incredible. Came this past summer many times for drinks on the roof (a great people watching spot for those who work in the neighborhood) and then my boyfriend brought me to dinner there last month. We ended up back again about 3 weeks later because we were craving what we'd had the first time around! Service is top notch--not sure what the other reviewers are saying about the owner--he and his staff have been incredibly inviting to everyone in the place the times we've been there. All in all a fantastic place, and worth the trip over to sort of a funny neighborhood (46th bet Lex and Third).

Very Nice place, great service. Went here for Restaurant week. It was something special. The layout is great, it wasn't too loud, and the food was excellent. An amazing wine list is sure to please everyone as well. Watch out for the deserts! the sundae is insane...

Casual Classy!!!. It was 4:00 p.m. and I decided that rather than cook, I would take my girl out for supper. I searched the web looking for a place close to work where we could meet and found Patroon's. Entering the door was the beginning of a wonderful experience. The Maitre' D, Stephone greeted us with a, "We have been eagerly awaiting your arrival" attitude and from there it was smooth sailing. We were promptly seated and the waiting staff was extremely attentive. I ordered on of the specials, "A cut above the rest" which is a beef tenderloin for 2, jumbo asparagus and mashed potatoes as sides. The meal was FANTASTIC. Prepared perfectly. Pan seared, with a well seasoned crust, which was lip smackingly savory. The inside was tender , juicy and succulent served with greens. Grilled asparagus spears, lightly seasoned. Creamy mashed potatoes with chives and a hint of garlic. I would venture to state the chef takes exceptional pride in his work. A nearby party had ordered duck, and I wished I had! Another ordered chicken and I wished I had! The aromas, the ambiance, MAGNIFIQUE!. For desert, we had chocolate mousse topped with drizzles of fudge and vanilla sauce with sprinkles of toffee chips. Great place for a couple to have an exceptional dinner in a calm soothing atmosphere. Patroon is the type of place one would frequent. If my experience was typical of their daily presentations, a bad night does not exist. Customer service is apparently the focus of Patroon. To not visit this restaurant is to not want a pleasant dining experience.

Great atmosphere and food. At the last minute, my friends and I, decided to go to Patroon for dinner. It was a very pleasant surprise. Everything was excellent, staff, food and atmosphere. It is a bit on the upscale side... But so worth it.

. My wife and I had dinner here last week and were both very happy with the our choice of restaurants. I ordered the Filet Mignon and my wife ordered the Salmon and both entrees were cooked perfectly with the taste to match. The service as well was worth mentioning. Very attentive when it came to anything which is how it should be. I have been to a lot of restaurants in NY and this is one I look forward to coming back to.

Outstanding in Every Way!. Took a group of people out to dinner at Patroon last week and let me just say that there are few restaurants in the city that can match the excellence of service, food and overall ambience that Patroon does so well. Bravo! Very highly recommended. Oh and check out their rooftop for a great after-work get together.
