Didn't Live Up To Expectations. I've heard some rave reviews about Sala Thai, so it was the first place I tried when I moved into the area. Unfortunately it disappointed.

Okay, I must be fair - I just tried the chicken pad thai, but it wasn't very good. I like mine saucy with a nice and sweet peanut sauce. This was fairly bland and dry - just noodles and chicken. Maybe some of the other dishes are better, but I don't think I'll be returning to find out.

Great neighborhood place. We came here for dinner with a reservation. They reserved the best table in the place for us. We ordered the shrimp pad Thai and the curry shrimp. Both were outstanding, and the portion of pad Thai was huge - we would have both been satisfied with one plate of pad Thai. The service was generally good as were the prices. There isn't really anything to complain about here. It's not fine dining, but it is good, reasonably priced Thai food.

PEANUT CHICKEN ROCKS!!. My fiance and I literally order-out from Sala Thai at least 1x a week, if not more. We usually order the peanut chicken, which is just AWESOME. Some people might not like it because the peanut chicken is a sweeter sauce (as opposed to a sour or spicy thai sauce), but it just compliments the chicken and veggies so well!! We really like everything we order from Sala Thai; highly recommended!! (The restautant itself is really nice too; we've eaten there once and it was very nice and romantic)

Yummy!. I love the food at this restaurant. It's very flavorful and authentic! Try the mussels app or any of the curries...as well as their grilled beef with sticky rice. Unbelivable. I order in or eat at the restaurant all the time. Their delivery is quick! The staff is very nice and knowledgable about their food.

Cheap, Good Food. Everything at Sala Thai is tasty and well-portioned. The calamari comes with an incredible sauce, and the duck noodles are yummy as well. The ambience is less than special; however, if you're looking for a filling, above-average Thai dinner, this is the place to go!

It was good to me. I really liked this place. Everything I had was good, and I'm a eater. It was pretty inexpensive too.

awful. the waitress was surly -- refused to bring sweetner for my tea!! and when i asked for an extra napkin, she demanded to know why! plus, the food was lousy.
