What People Are Saying About Theater For The New City

In Short – The building is an arts center of four performance spaces, ranging from 50 seats to the 220-seat main auditorium called the Joyce and Seward Johnson Theater. The productions here are hit-and-miss, but the hits are quite impressive. In 1978, Sam Shepard's "Buried Child" made its New York premiere here before going on to win the Pulitzer Prize. – –

I have only seen about four show at the theater, not including the street theater last summer. I must say the price up pay to watch a show does not compare to talent you will see. And not to mention the great people you will meet ......... Thanks to Primy and all his friends for making a Jersey boy feel comfortable.
- Pros: not crowded, Inexpensive, good people
- Cons: no parking, aliens in the e.vill
