As you get higher above the Promenade Theater, you also get further off-Broadway..
This small black box theater is a number of floors up, so most folks take the slow, tiny elevator up part way then walk the final flight. (The elevator does not go to the floor on which the theater is located.) A fairly small playing area is compensated for with a steep rake for the audience: the sightlines are excellent.
