Tips for Chanel Boutique

Is there anything those interlocking C's don't look chic on?. The Scene
Chanel is probably the most recognized name in the fashion and luxury goods market today, due in part to the phenomenal success of the scent Chanel No. 5 and the image it instantaneously conjures of Parisian couture at its best.

The Goods
You don't necessarily need a cool million to get a piece of Chanel's action. A bottle of Chanel No. 5, 19 or 22? A mere $75. A tube of lipstick? $20. At the sumptuous, gilded boutiques, you'll find the signature quilted bags ($550-$1200), scarves, real and costume jewelry and beautifully made ready-to-wear. Suits, some sexy and some more conservative, all adhere to Coco's classic formula of design and workmanship ($2000-$3000). Eveningwear will run you much more. Just know that nothing says I love you--or, for that matter, I'm worth it--like Chanel.

A Moody Day. A famous Boutique Chanel at 57th St, Very nice atmosphere and of course beautiful and nice collection. But Today when I have visited ( it is October 5, 06 ), I really have no idea why the sales person looks so stiff and not helpfull at all. I come for advice for the authenticity for A Chanel Bag which I believe is real one, just to make sure for my sake, and seems like this Lady Sales Person isn't very happy about it, looks afraid that she might get fired for telling me something, and answer most of my question with " Sorry, I don't know, Sorry ". Is this really a " Moody Day " or what? I really don't get it. Perhaps they will ask the Manager to come to me with more nice attitude. Carrying A Famous Chanel Name, they should trying to help at least, So I guess I don't think that this is what Madam Coco Chanel would expect from her employee ??

The REAL McCoy!. This is THE Chanel Boutique on 57th STreet - and the prices prove it.

While the atmosphere is pleasant and the products, clothing and cosmetics are high-end, it may not be the best value.

You've gotta at least visit once or twice to get that "true" CHanel NYC experience.

Coco would be so proud!
