Go-To Spot.
I love Blockheads. The food is delicious. I'm a vegetarian and there are plenty of delicious options on the menu (no-dairy burritos, vegetarian chile bowls, etc). Always leave full and satisfied. I'm not a drinker, but my friends LOVE the margaritas. Can't beat the price anywhere else in Manhattan.
My only issue? Sometimes the music is too loud, when I'm trying to order I have to shout. And trying to get in past 7p on the weekends is nearly impossible.
But if you're hanging out in the city and you want to stop for a cheap but delicious lunch? This is your ticket.

For youngens trying to save money..
I go here from time to time to get my drink on and eat alotta okay tasting food for a low cost. It's a hell of a lot better than Taco Bell and the service isn't that bad. Viva la Sangria!

All around terrible.
I agree with all those before me - service could be better. Or at least, existent.
Food was dry and disgusting. Service was worse than I've ever seen in NYC. Honestly, can't believe this place is still here!

Great food, even better Margaritas!!!. Love the food- the chicken burrito is delish. Even better are the margaritas! We will sometimes come here instead of going to bars! Also, good price for the food and drinks.

It was ok!. The food was good, i liked mine and my wife was not to happy with hers. They added some crazy ingredients into the quesadilla. The decor was a bit wierd also. But overall its a good place to go for mexican and drinks with friends.

Good food, 'ritas, and rooftop deck.
This place is great for lunch (get the crispy chicken wrap... mmmm) or after work drinks. Prices are very reasonable for the area and the complimentary chips and salsa are great.
On the downside, I agree with some of the other posts in that the service is less than great.

Great food and margaritas..BUT.... I am usually a huge fan of Blockheads. However, after the last experience I do not think I will be returning. The $3 margaritas and the tasty food are a great reason to eat at this place, but last month for the eve of my sister's 21st birthday we decided to celebrate with a late dinner at Blockheads. Keeping in mind that she turns 21 at midnight, the manager rudely asked for all of our IDs, and when she returned with them she loudly declared that my sister could not drink. I argued with her that at midnight she will be 21, and received a rude response. I was apalled that management would treat their customers like this. The confrontation put a damper on the dinner celebration. There could have been a better way for management to handle such a situation.

Horrible Service. Ordered food at 7:00... Called in at 8:00 They told me it was on the way and then never delivered it... Called them back and they said they tried to deliver it twice and called me three times... Checked my phone no calls, checked my doorman no attempt at delivery... so two hours later and hungry I ordered from Bawuchi's my standard indian there in twenty minutes and good...

Good Cheap Drinks. The largest burritos and qusedillas that I have seen in a LONG time. They have great happy hour specials that include $4.50 sangrias and $3.50 mojitos. A good watering hole kind of place, stop by after work for some good, cheap drinks.

Best Burritos around. Fantastic food. Especially the BBQ chicken burritos! Portions are big and filling. Delivery is fast. I order lunch from here once a week.
