WORST DELVIERY SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED!

by LexiLex

Worst delivery for lunch I have ever experienced! Fine, the place is cheap and has decent food, but I experienced the most rude delivery man I have ever met in my life, and that says a lot being that I order lunch in everyday! He literally came in and yelled at me because I supposedly gave him the wrong address, though I have never had a problem before with any other restaurant. Also, he spoke hardly any English, making it impossible to respond to his tirade. I finally had to yell at him to leave my office, because he went on and on and would not leave. It was the WORST service I have ever dealt with!

Nice Looking Chinese Food Place with Reasonable Prices

by CJM1222

I love Ginger House. It has great Chinese food and is a very nice looking restaurant - and is priced like your neighborhood take-out. Great spot for Midtown lunch - as they seat and serve very quickly.

  • Pros: Great food, great prices, quick lunchtime service
  • Cons: Crowded at lunch

Ginger's Happy Hour

Contributor

Ginger's has one of the best happy hours in midtown. Drinks are between $4-5. The service is mediocre but the atmosphere makes up for it. Food there (not cheap) is decent, and the portions are large enough to share between 2 people. Great place for a drink with your friends after work !! highly recommended.

Good food for very affordable prices

by LuckyGem613

I'm always at Ginger House since I go to school by there, and I can say that it is one of the cheapest, tastiest places to eat in on my college student budget. Appetizers are not more than $5 and I usually spend $10 on a plate of food. Decor is really pretty and the service is good, even though it can take a while to track down your waiter. However, I always get my food pretty fast--my usual wait is at least 15 minutes. I recommended this place to all my friends and they all agree

  • Pros: Affordable, good food, no msg
  • Cons: Can take a while to get your waiter

Good Chinese

by reginad

Went on thursday night, what a crowd around 7pm there were no available service. Food is good and portions can be even shared.

The service is major problem in this place, not only that your waiter is hard to get not do they ever come back to check on you. Also when we asked to hold our entree, they ignored us and just dropped the plate on the table, over all service is somewhat rude.

Overall I would still come back as I have gotten used to bad service but good chinese food especially dumplings in peanut souce,(yum)

If you the type that doesn't care then defiantly place to try.

  • Pros: low price good food
  • Cons: very bad service
