Editor's Tips
- Know Before You Go:
- Tours, which describe U.N. history and the significance of various displays, are the best way to experience the complex.
- Look Good:
- Visitors love to send postcards back home with U.N. stamps featuring their photo, sold at the postal counter located in the public concourse. These stamps can only be mailed from the United Nations.
- The Extras:
- The garden (entrance on 45th St) is a great place to relax; its long esplanade offers great views of the East River.
