This 28-acre estate and garden was deeded to the public by the Perkins-Freeman family in 1960. With 3,236 species of flora, Wave Hill features traditional flowers, herbs and an exotic aquatic garden. Garden enthusiasts can participate in Wave Hill Center's programs in horticulture, environmental education, land management and landscape history. The property also features two art galleries an outdoor summer dance series and regular jazz and classical music concerts.
