If I were to marry a french fry, it would be from this place! Come for brunch, drinks or dinner and you will not be disappointed.

Lovely diner fare overlooking Tompkins Park. Outdoor seating and good drinks. Come for happy hour.

East Village QUick Dinner – I've been here about 10 times. It's so consistent. I've never had a bad meal here. The servers are usually east side people who seem to live in the area.

Cool place.

Average, but Consistant – An old staple. The food is OK, service also OK, but it's consistent and has been for years.

SOmetimes knowing what you're going to get is a good thing!

7A Cafe – Chill place to grab some bacon and eggs for brunch. A little yuppified but still a fixture of East Village.

Lackluster food, not worth the trip – Been here a few times and nothing was ever great. The drinks are bleh and the food is blah. I ordered a soup before and it was barely warm. Ordered some tofu dish and it was a big, bland bowl of tofu chunks and some veggies. And I don't like that I had to wait for tables before and the food was never Worth the wait. It's nice there's a place open all night, but I'm going to search around more for another late-night joint because this place just doesn't make the grade. It should be called 7C, at best, was that corny? Ah, I don't care, I'm honest.

Incredible food – Time and time again 7A never fails to deliver. The breakfast burrito is so filled with flavor, it's hard to imagine food like this can come out of a 24 hour diner! This restaurant is unlike any other. The prices are fantastic too!

Great Happy Hour – My friends and I went here for happy hour night last week. We had a great time. It wasn't overcrowded like some places tend to be. It was a great atmosphere and the drink specials were great! How can you argue with buy one get one drinks?!

Mediocre food, but cheap – My girlfriend and I went on a Monday night, and the place was nearly empty. We both ordered pasta dishes and thought that our respective dish was bland. It felt like the contents were thrown together quickly without much thought to presentation and taste. For a late night bite, this place is good. Most dishes are around $10, and the service was very prompt. But I honestly would not go out of my way for their food.

Citysearch Editorial Review – This East Village mainstay is exactly what it seems: a convenient, no-fuss cafe with a menu of solid, if basic, dishes. Though modestly decorated with simple wooden tables and floor-to-ceiling windows, the space is fairly large, which makes it conducive to group dining if you're willing to wait for a table. Crowds are common, especially during weekend brunch and late-night--it?s open 24 hours a day, so the cool kids come out in droves after last call at the area?s many bars. But regardless of when you go, expect to find an extensive list of salads, burgers, wraps and pastas, all of which are reliably good and reasonably priced.
