On the Rack – A large and well-organized indie rock seven-inch section. Kim's also has a large selection of movie soundtracks, experimental, noise and psychedelica CDs, as well as some tapes and music videos.

I used to go in there every other day when I lived in New York in pre-ebay days. I loved the underground feel, the way titles were arranged, the fact they had rare titles....I miss Kims, I miss New York.
