High Quality Sushi for Less. This place is absolutely fabulous! It is cheap and they use fresh and high quality meat. I really like how all their waitresses wear Japanese traditional outift and serve you.

All-you-can-eat sushi deal is amazing but just don't overdo it. You would have to pay for whatever you could not finish!

Also, there is no tipping here. They only charge you 12% "management fee" for 6 people or less. So this makes me feel right back in Asia again! (No tipping there either!)

Best Sushi Place... it is better than average and in a city where restaurants come and go they have been around forever. Their prices are incredibly reasonable, the staff is friendly and their fish is fresh and well prepared. This is traditional sushi, not the crazy concoctions that you often find in over-hyped, trendy restaurants. Not to say I don't appreciate the crazy, but sometimes you just want some tasty, fresh fish on rice. Well this is the place where you can go for that. Oh and for those who love to party they serve sake bombs...what can I say I'm bit of lush!

Best quality sushi at lowest price anywhere in Manhattan. You need to be a real sushi lover to appreciate this place. Sure, they get really busy, and crowded, and it might be hard to get "perfect" service, but you're here for high quality, low cost sushi --- not to be waited on hand and foot in your own private booth. This place has a loyal fan base; many between 5-10 years. I'm on my fourth year and will keep coming regularly until they close their doors. And if they do, I don't know what I'll do!

Great if you like bad service and mysterious spicy tuna. Just ate here, and it was an unpleasant experience all around. First of all, there didn't seem to be any tables for two so you have to share a cramped table with others, which wasn't the worst thing, but it's not great for a relaxing night out either. Then there's the whole service issue, which was beyond spotty (for my wife and I, and the two people sharing the table with us). They seemed to forget about half my order, only to bring it out much later, after I had already ordered more. As for the quality of the fish, the nigiri was passable at best, and the cut rolls were borderline inedible. Please tell me why spicy tuna rolls would taste like tomato sauce. It was a challenge eating here, and I will never go back, though apparently my experience is an outlier here.

I loved this place!. I guess this place must have its good and bad days, because I cannot believe anyone wouuld give this place a bad review.

ALL sushi places that have an "All You Can Eat" menue charge you for each piece of sushi you do not eat, so whoever complained about that get a clue.

The sushi was very fresh and tasty. The service was very good. Try throwing a few bucks in the tip jar, maybe you will get better service!

For the price of the all you can eat this is an outstanding value. I will definetly be back.

Great cheap sushi!. Refreshing to see something on the upper east side that won't break the bank - Yuka is a great sushi place - fresh fish, VERY REASONABLY PRICED, and quick if you call to pick up. There is always a wait for tables at the restaurant - but hey - thats what happens with good food!

Loved the sashimi. I moved to NY after living in Japan for two years. I've read all the reviews which are mixed, but I ordered the sushi/sashimi combo and the dragon roll to share with a friend, and it was amazing. We had more than enough food for the two of us, and the sashimi was awesome. Huge fresh slices with good flavor. Maybe the AYCE isn't really worth the price, but ordering off the menu was still an amazing deal. I love sushi, but I'm also excited to try the other Japanese dishes like udon and tonkatsu, etc., since I miss Japanese food. This place isn't trying to sell its atmosphere but rather good, cheap, authentic food. Maybe it's not consistent, but Yuka was a deliciously good experience for us! So happy it's just down the street too!

Awful!!!. A friend of ours recommended this place, so we decided to check it out. My fiance got the AYCE and I ordered off the menu. The service was good, courteous, and quick, but the sushi was atrocious. The sashimi was good, and the fish fresh, but the rice was soaked in vinegar and overpowered any other taste (fish, soy, wasabi). Basically all I could taste was the vinegar. One of the worst sushi places I have ever been to. Definitely will not return. There were three of us and all agreed at how awful the sushi was. Incidentally all three wound up with upset stomachs for the rest of the night.
