Circuit City offers a good but not overwhelming selection. Showrooms are medium in size, just enough to display the brand names customers know and respect, such as Hewlett-Packard and Sony. The store carries car and home audio equipment, television accessories (even satellite TV and broadband), cameras, computers and computer accessories, and music and movies. The staff is knowledgeable, but not annoyingly passionate about printing cartridges. When a product does not function correctly, customers can take it to the on-site service center.

Where to start. If I ever started a business I'd take a close look at Circuit City's business practices, and do the exact opposite. It's March, and when I called Circuit City to obtain store hours, I got a happy holiday greeting (not Easter either) and hours from December. Secondly, when I got to the store to buy a PS3, that was fine, but when I looked for games I was told I had to go to the customer service area to view them. So not only do you have to wait in the "line of incompetence" I think I aged two years in the process and my IQ dropped 5pts in the process of talking to the individual at the service desk. Organization people! no wonder this company hasn't seen profits for almost a year, if I was a shareholder I'd be livid. Way to go guys, lets make it hard for our customers to spend their money.

Circuit City will cheat you for sure! I went there to buy a new TV, and it was E-shipped. What NO ONE told me was that there is a TWO WEEK processing time ON TOP of the shipping time so now the TV will miss Christmas. OH yea, they also say you can not cancel E-shipped items. Beware of this crummy store that knows NOTHING about customer service and is laden with hidden policies and TRAPS. Booo!
