GREAT STEAMED LOBSTER!!. my boyfriend and I stumbled upon this place visiting the highline park a couple sundays ago, and im glad we did the steamed lobster was resonably priced and i also had the california roll that they offered my boyfriend had the seafood sampler which was lobster and crab rolls delishis...although i wanted some oysters because they looked great I practiced restraint, but i will be back for those oysters, great lil place to eat its a fish market so the seafood is fresh!!

In Short
Chelsea Market's waterfall provides an aquatic mood at the sprawling seafood store's entrance. Bright cuts of fish laid over ice and surrounded by greens are joined by ultra-jumbo shrimp, scallops, clams and lump crab meat, pre-seasoned seafood and numerous smoked salmon varieties. Enormous tanks of lobster and a sushi bar surprise at the the back of the shop, and whole steamed lobsters, chowders and seafood salads are ready to take out or eat at surrounding counters.

Fresh and First Rate. Nestled in the Chelsea Market, this seafood market has a remarkable selection of the freshest seafood I've seen in Gotham. There's Sushi, prepared foods, and the best #1 Tuna imaginable. With huge lobster tanks in the back, it even smells like the ocean!
