A Hidden Gem in the East Village. This little spot in the East Village is a great find if you're looking for a really unique present or decoration, at a fair price. The owner's husband, Billy, is a fabulous man and frequently runs the "store." He's helpful and friendly and all you want to do is just give him a hug (which my mother actually did after he helped with her purchase). I put the "store" bit in quotes because it literally is an old garage space or something that definitely does not qualify as a storefront. Nonetheless, they have made a great use of the space with bright colored far-eastern scarves, clothes, jewelry and trinkets.

At 4-7pm Tuesday-Saturday, the hours are admittedly a bit odd. But if you happen to be in the area, say, waiting on your table at Vesekla, drop by. Guaranteed to find some really funky stuff.
