I have been coming to Alphabet Lounge for some time now and I must say that I enjoy it every time. I am glad that I found this place. The drinks are good the music is perfect and the people here are amazing!

I like coming to Alphabet Lounge during their 80 s nights. It brings me back to when I was in my 20 s partying. The atmosphere here is clean and nice, the DJ is always good and the drink specials are worth it.

Great lounge to hang out with your boys and to have a good time. The prices of drinks are cheaper than I had anticipated even though my friends told me about it already. Great experience and I will definitely be back again soon.

Good drink specials and music. I get picky with places that I go to because I will only stay if the music is good. I have to say this is one of the best places that I have been to for music. I highly recommend it.

The Alphabet Lounge is a great place to celebrate birthdays, bachelor/ bachelorette parties and more! It's cheap, the music is great, and you can dance all night unit they close!

This place is awesome! I had my Bachelorette party there last night (Sat.) and it was a blast! We danced till we dropped and heard all of our favorite 80's and 90's songs. Don't believe the people who didn't like it there...they are just cranky haters. Yes, you pay $10 for liquor and $5 for beer, but that is actually cheap for NYC. My friends and I are making plans to go back there soon. One tip...if you go there before 10:30 it is dead there and after 11:30, its packed full. Your best bet is to go between 10:30 and 11:30 if you actually want to have a spot to dance.

MESSAGE TO MANAGEMENT.
I plan on visiting NYC in 3 weeks and wanted to check out a place that played a nice mix of 80's, 90's and today.
I googled and found out about "Alphabet Lounge." The description sounded like it would be an awesome place to enjoy during a night out.
But the reviews of this place I have to say are horrible!
That's not my issue though... It's the management responding to the negative reviews people are posting!!!
Talk about bad PR! If you really want to make ammends with people who are BADLY REVIEWING your place, then I suggest you not be such a slime-ball!
I was considering just checking the place out for myself, regardless of the reviews, because everyone knows that reviews could be special situations, certain circumstances that are unique to the individual guest who has different tastes as opposed to your own.
But I am literally DISGUSTED with how management has responded to these people's reviews. You are only making your business look worse, and showing it in a very, very bad light!
I will make sure to spread the word to people NEVER to go to this place. I am so appauled at how bad the manager of the Alphabet Lounge's CitySearch page is, that I HAD to sign up, just to write this.
Now THAT makes for a bad review... Don't you think??

Avoid at all costs. Met my friends here for a birthday party and we ended up leaving after one round of drinks. It looks one hour for us to get our drinks. Granted it was a Friday night, but the waitress had an attitude and the atmosphere was sort of low class. So, needless to say, we won't be patronizing this bar again.

What you don't want in a late night hotspot. The service here was just, oh, theres really only one word for it - atrocious. I wish that I could say that I had enjyoed the drinks, because they might have tasted alright, but after waiting for an hour to actually get served, all I could taste was just bitterness in my mouth. Not to mention the prices. Just too high prices for such low low service

No body waits an hour to get served. Btw, we have the fastest bar employees in the city.........
