The Courts
There are 14 courts to choose from in Astoria Park. Some are tucked away under beautiful, shady trees and others are right under the sun.
You shouldn't have to wait too long for a game, but if you play on the weekends and want to ensure court time, reservations (up to 30 days in advance) are available for an extra $5.
The Park
Astoria Park is a haven amid the bustling borough of Queens. It may not be as posh as Central or Prospect Park, but it has an amazing East River view and an unlimited array of Mr. Softee trucks. There is a great running track with stretching stations right next to the tennis
house, so you can run a few laps before you hit the ball around.
