To avoid the crowds, go during lunch, when the menu is augmented with warm sandwiches, entree-sized salads and country omelettes. The dinner menu features straightforward French fare--potato-crusted salmon, bouillabaisse and roasted chicken with haricot verts. Desserts include creme brulee and an apple tart.

My husband and I were dressed nicely, but not in business attire. We were told it would be 5 minutes and to wait in the bar area for them to call us. I still had a view of the hostess and watched as 3 other parties of 2 (dressed in business attire) who came in after us were seated before us. Only until we walked back up to the hostess area and I stood there looking at my watch did we finally get seated. The chicken was undercooked and the bread was overcooked, almost burnt. If you're visiting NYC forget eating here.

Disguting Food and Service

The manager DAVID is a disgusting human being. He was rude to my friend for being gay and asked us to leave. He yelled at us in front of everyone and called my friend a F*ggot. This is the manager!! I have never seen this behavior before, but based on the reviews below at least I know we are not the only ones you are subjected to this. Get rid of this guy!! How can a restaurant use a man who is prejudiced??!??

WORST SERVICE - DISGUSTING

MY friends and I went there for brunch to celebrate this past weekend and we were treated like absolute trash by the manager, DAVID. He was so demeaning and refused to seat us because we looked Middle Eastern. He yelled at us in front of the entire restaurant and threatened to throw us out because we chose to wait for an outside table and he did not want to seat us there. The food was forgettable and the service was appalling. I will never go back. I have never been this humiliated. I cannot believe they would treat customers this way!!
