Great Food and Great Atmosphere. This place is one of my favorites because I can get in and out fairly fast. It’s within walking distance of Broadway and if I tell them I’m running late, they get my food out to me right away. Their Asian cuisine has a unique twist and their chocolate cake is sinful. The prices are reasonable and the décor is absolutely stunning.

Touristy, but Good Food. I went to see "Rock of Ages" on Broadway. It rocked. I ended up here, cause I wanted some sushi. It is really touristy, over-priced. The food was very fresh and tasty.

nom nom nom. Delish food! We stopped for lunch yesterday and had some very tasty dim sum. Service was terrific. We plan on going back soon.

Great Service, Beautiful Restaurant. Went to dinner at Tao to celebrate my sisters 25th birthday with a group of 13 family members and we had excellent service. The staff was attentive, the food was delicous and the scenery was beautiful. My sister really enjoyed herself, I'd like to return when my friends come to visit from over-seas this summer.

Great! Worth every dollar. I'm 18 years old and me and my friends always come here after spending the day shopping. The usual 5 of us share 2 or 3 dishes, they're huge! So the price is really great and we love the place itself. TS is a great place for tourists too, you can walk their from many places you may visit in NYC.

Loved Everything. I came to Ruby Foo's with a party of eight people aged 21-60. We arrived 15 minutes early on a Friday night and were seated right away. We were looking for a nice atmosphere and good food. Ruby Foo's delivered on both. We were are ALL pleased with our choices and the food was much better than we expected (especially after seeing the 3.5 star rating). The soups were all great and the portions were large. We only got one sushi roll so I can't comment on that but all the stir fry dishes were full of flavor! Ruby Foo's is definitely pricey but everything is pricey in Times Square - we didn't hold that against them. The atmosphere is cool and the music was upbeat and fun. Ruby Foo's is definitely worth checking out.

It's a great place to hang out. Loved the atmosphere, the service was great. We ordered appetizers and the meal tasted just so so to me. I love to go here and hang out with friends but the food doesn't do it for me.

Too cramped. The food and decor are VERY NICE.. But do you want to sit on top of the people next to you while eating? The tables and chairs are WAY TOO CLOSE.. This is not a cafeteria right?

Its very loud,, awful place really.

Excellent food believe it or not. If you picked this restaurant up and placed it anywhere else in the city it would be uber popular with the locals. It has a great ambiance and the food is some of the greatest non-shishi (Nobu, Tao) food I've ever had. Lobster spring rolls are sooo tasty that I save my calories for them. Everything is great, service too. I take my mom here when she visits since I like great food but she likes more normal/touristy stuff. It's highly underestimated.

Know before you go. OK, this is not as bad as some make it out. The food is fine. It's not great, but it is pleasing, not spit-it-out disgusting. Yes, there is better Chinese food to be had in many places. But, Ruby Foo's is a neat restaurant to patronize. We've found the waitstaff to be attentive, even if they are rushing around handling all those customers. We much prefer the uptown location to the TS location, as it doesn't seem to have quite the breakneck, frenetic feel to it, and you don't sit inches from other diners. Still, there are lots of really terrible places to eat in and near TS, and you can still have a good pre-theater meal and a good time at Ruby's.
