For those of you who avoid Pottery Barn like the plague..
The Scene
Owners Sabrina Schilcher and Stefan Beckman are a furniture designer and set designer, respectively, who set their sleek and shapely finds (some new, some old, from both American and European designers) against a backdrop of concrete floors and white walls.
The Goods
They describe their aesthetic as "sophisticated pop," which seems to mean groovy vintage artwork and lots of sexy molded plastic. Cool and mod without being cold, it's like the space-age bachelor finally finding a hip girlfriend. Lounge with an orange ponyskin pillow and turn up the Esquivel!
