The modern home must.. My wife and I love this store and shop there as much as we can afford to. If you're home has a modern flair to it, you need to know Conran. Great products for everything from your living room sofa to your kitchen spice-rack.

A Brit with a knack for making the merely ordinary marvelous ... and accessible.. The Scene
When the news that Sir Terence Conran was going stateside hit New York, designistas started hyperventilating. Finally, Conran's well-edited selection of cool stuff would be available, here in the comfort of our own country! We too could have the bath mats shown in British Elle Decor!

The Goods
Browse the fantastic selection of (get this) wastebaskets and sigh over the packaging for Philippe Starck's line of organic food products. Why keep an ugly bottle opener when you can have one that just feels better? Why keep your pasta in its package when it can be decanted into a pretty, mod canister? Why buy another heinous CD tower if there's something that does the job much better--and more beautifully? Why not brush your teeth with a sparkly disco ball of a toothbrush? Why not indeed!

nice store...but. the store in general is quite exquisite, lots of great product, but the staff needs a bit of reworking here... i've been here a number of times, and the staff is either engaged in conversations amongst themselves or they just don't make eye contact with you. if you can get over this, the product is great, lots of style!

what happened here?!. i'm a fan of Sir Terence's shops all around the world but this one has to be the worst. what's with all of the boxes everywhere on the shop floor? what's with the monochromatic color scheme? it's boring!!!!

Chic housewares galore. I love going to this store to look for unique gifts for friends, family and myself, of course. From fuzzy pillows to printed mugs to modern furniture to sleek pens, Terence Conran has a bevvy of cool, chic items for the home and office. Some things are a bit pricey, but the stuff is so hip you might not mind dropping a pretty penny for a set of designer place mats!
