I HATE THIS ESTABLISHMENT
The staff is extremely rude and has no regards towards its regular customers. Now they implement this new rule, that if you want to sit down at a table and enjoy one of the many drinks that you bought, you MUST buy something from the menu and every person in your group who sits, must order at least $5 average per person. This is ok if everyone wants to eat, but if not, the nasty staff will ask you to stand aside fi you are not eating at the table. Even if you order enough food, so that the total is more than $5 average per person, that still does not count in their book, and therefore you will be not-qualified to sit with your group. This is complete non-sense, as this was the situation with my group there. When we asked to speak to the general manager, who knows us by our first name, due to our frequent visits, he said "you guys should know the rules, and if you dont like them, theres the door". We found this to be extremely rude on his behalf since he didnt even appreciate our business so far, which has been at least 4 times per week. In any case, Food is overpriced, and DO NOT GO HERE UNLESS. We hate everything about this place.
BASTARDS!!!! THE STAFF AND MANAGEMENT IS NOT OF MY BEST OPINION (i used other words, but citysearch does not allow to post). Also, whats up with staff members adding their own 18% tips to a group of 3?
- Pros: Alcohol
- Cons: staff, manager, rules, snobby service
Awesome burgers, great beer selection, great atmosphere
by lizzyred8
Lunch and dinner are great here. The burgers are huge and juicy...try the Bo burger for the greatest pleasure. Fries have that homemade taste and the flavor is enhanced by dipping in the chipotle mayo. Even the salads will manage to fill you up, and the soups are perfect for the wintertime in Harlem. Happy hours rock with cheap pints and a great selection. The crowd combines Harlem locals, Columbia students/staff and the random passer-by. Definitely worth stopping in for a bite and a pint!
- Pros: Burgers, beer selection, staff, atmosphere
