im a little mad they took the lamb burger off the menu, it was sooo good. anyway its a great pub. nice selection of beer. bartend mike is the man. food is good quality pub food

I frequently come here after gallery tour in Chelsea. The location makes it very convenient. They serve nice bar food particularly sweet potato fries. The price is rather high, but justify with the location. I sometimes feel that people at the bar do not treat me right. They are rather brunt and not accommodating. I suppose you can do that if the place is busy enough.

Summer and fall are the best times to take advantage of Half King's outdoor seating. And it's great if you have a dog...you can all plunk down outside. Tons of great beers , wine , and cocktails. The food is pretty good...burgers, mussels, nachos. Great place to check out all the hunks walking back from Chelsea piers. And you can smoke on one side of the patio outside.
