Double C's for the downtown set.. The Scene
Beautifully designed--with a black and white theme, huge sliding mirrored panels, see-through shelving and perfectly-placed track lighting. The store is compartmentalized into little rooms for an intimate feel, which also allows for display of entire wacky lines like Chanel Ski. There's a sitting area too, complete with a black-and-white, nubby wool-covered couch.

The Goods
Beautiful clothes you can dream about, and lip gloss you can buy. The Soho store has a little of everything, including clothes, cosmetics, shoes, accessories and bijoux. You'll find Chanel booty selected with a hipster clientele in mind, which means all of Karl's over-the-top creations are here, while more staid tweeds and quilted bags stay uptown where they belong.
