What People Are Saying About Town At Chambers

Town could be a luxe restaurant just about anywhere: Its modern, David Rockwell decor is timeless and windowless, and seems to belong more to the international tribe of rich businessmen than New York. Geoffrey Zakarian's superb cooking, forged in the crucible of plutocratic commissaries like Le Cirque and Patroon, has an equally cosmopolitan, featureless character, but it's very, very good, with a big menu ranging from rabbit to veal tongue, to more straightforward luxe proteins like ribeye steak, butter poached lobster, and, of course, the chef's signature escargot risotto.
Terrific Meal

I went to this restaurant last month with my father who was in town on business. It was amazing. I might say it is my new favorite in Ny. The food and service were both impeccable. We started the roasted fig dumplings which was excellent and then split the tomato salad , also great. We both had the duck which was by far the best duck I have ever had. Decor is great! . Great great great! Thanks for a terrific meal Town!

Good Style..

I don't usually hyperventilate and get all intimated by food. But all this place got some serious reviews and is one of the best in this fair city of ours. First of all the place was gorgeous and our seating was primo. I loved how everything was elegantly presented and not over frilly. The food was simple and tasty.I would recommend to anyone.
AVOID

This place tries really hard to be something it is not. The management is terrible, and the food is amazingly overpriced. The food is good but you could do a lot better someplace else.
