Go on the first day of your visit.. This was my husband and my first trip to NY together. We wanted to do a tour that was out of the ordinary and that would make us feel a little less like tourist. We had a great time learning about the village. Not only did we learn about restaurants but we learned about the architecture of the area and a little about the culture as well. The only negative was that we did the tour on our last day in NY. If you do the tour do it on your first day.

It was a great Trip!. This was my husband and myself's first trip to New York. We had about four days to explore and we were so glad we included the food tour of Greenwich Village in our itinery. I had read about the village and was keen to see this part of town. Booking over the internet enabled us to save time once we arrived. Our guide was well informed and quite humerous. We were so impressed we returned for dinner at the Home restaurant for my birthday treat and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal in the cosy garden atmosphere. We will hopefully return to this part of New York again some day. Jack and Jackie Johnston Buckie Scotland
