Best Irish Pub Below 14th Street!. I was just at Fiddlesticks this past Friday, after work, and had the best time! The bartender was reason alone to go!

I just have to say that I spent all my money just to watch this cute bartender work all night.

This is not just some small NYC bar to squeeze into, there is plently of room to drink, play pool, catch a smoke on the outside cafe...and obviously, flirt with the bartenders!

Definite recommendation!

Bustling Irish Pub. Fiddlesticks is pretty great for people-watching and bumping into. The pub pretty large with a decent amount of space. However, it gets packed on the weekends with a mostly collegiate, recently post-collegiate crowd looking for some beers and fun. Overall, a great place to be if you're looking for some simple fun.

Brunch... what a deal!!!!!!!!!!. Last saturday afternoon my friend a I met for brunch. I was surpised at what a deal their brunch special was. I order a fantastic burger and had an option of two toppings. I also had an option of two drinks (bloodymary, mimosa, beer, screwdriver and I think house wine). Service was good and staff was friendly! I'm think of booking my next party there.

Honestly. I've been going for years after finding it on a pub crawl night. Honestly, it's nearly always fun to hang. Bouncers and bathroom attendant only on weekends are a necessary evil. The food can be hit or miss on occasion but always palatable. Ive never sent anything back but others have and theyre always happy to make it right. Some of the wait staff arent keen on service but they get dragged over the coals so anyone with some sympathy can understand someone having a bad day. The bar staff are always warm and friendly, but dont challenge them to a drinking contest unless you have very deep pockets and a very high alcohol tolerance. It can get quite ugly (for foolishly over-zealous patrons you know who you are)! ;-) Lastly, if you look young, bring ID!!!

great burgers and happy hour. I was pretty impressed with the interior and clientele. Large place and very friendly staff makes this place a nice alternative to the bars in the area. They have a big outside area and serve food too, the burgers are terrific and a $3 happy hour you can't beat. I will def. be back!

I have been to much better places. We just went last night after work and were very disappointed. Our waitress at first was very sweet and even came back to let me know she accidently poured the wrong beer for me but most importantly it wasn't that cold. We both had fish and chips and it was nothing more than an oversized ball of greasy batter over sub-par mushy fish.We had to finally find another waitress and ask for our check and the one that originally started to serve us managed to totally ignore us. We won't go back for sure!

Not a lot more you could ask for... We love Fiddlesticks. Good beers, and an authentic Irish atmosphere and decent wines by the glass. Its a mad-house on the weekend but that's par for the course and great if you're in the mood for it. Extremely friendly bar staff, excellent food and fun music make it the place we like to start and/or end an evening out. These guys know how to run a NY Irish bar (and believe me I've been to more than a few). Check out the ladies behind the bar as well!

BOUNCER WAS A...VERY BAD MAN. I love the fact that the bartender looked at my ID for about 10 minutes, held up the line and repeatedly asked me if I was of age (I'm 24). Finally when he gave it back and I walked in he proceeded to try to give me crap about copping an attitude.

So besides the fact that the bartender is pissed because of the roids costing so much and he only makes 7 a hour....it was less than adequate.
