good valueeee. this place is extremely good value espcially for the upper east side. they have good food and they almost always have sick drink specials. i've been here a lot w/ my friends and we take advantage of the vip happy hour all the time!

yay. I have a great time every time I've come here. Always play great music for dancing, the DJ's are friendly and the people are cool. I like most places that have good music that I can dance to, so it's an easy win for me, but even my more snooty friends had a great time when we came here. Crowd is early to mid 20's, and drinks are really fairly priced.

Always a good time. Me and my friends always have a sick time here. The girls that work there are hot and the crowd is good. Definitely a good value especially considering the location. Whether it's after work drinks or time to rage on the weekend, this place is on the top of my list..

What a Night!!!!. Mad River is exactly what it says in the name, it was mad! i had sooooo much fun, the drinks were so cheap i was hammered, the bar tenders were a lot of fun and it was a great way to finish my day, cant wait for another excuse to have another drink, or a few lol

Mad River was so much fun!. Walked in to Mad River as I was moseying around the UES last Thursday. Really upbeat crowd, and they were having a guest bartending competition with a bunch of really pretty girls. Everyone there was really fun, the music was good, and the prices are extremely reasonable! I had a great time dancing and drinking with friends and met some pretty cool people there aswell.

sweet happyhour. Went in for happy hour last friday - there were a ton of people there and everyone I went with had a good time! They have some pretty awesome deals especially for the location, which is always a plus! I was also happy that the bartenders worked efficiently so even with a growing crowd they were on top of their game and still had time to be friendly. I'll be back!

Personal Fav. I love this place, I come here with my friends all the time and we always have fun. It's in a great location, and the bar is pretty big so I'm never cramped/overheated like in a lot of other bars. Everyone's really cool there and the prices are great :)

Great Time. After living on the UES for about 3 years now I have become a fan of Mad River. Every time we stop in, there is always something going on. There were great specials and the music was just what we want to hear. Recently we just had dinner there and the food was awesome i def. recommend the burger with the waffle fries!
