The Scene – It's big, brawny, bibulous, and has a swagger that befits the popular coast-to-coast steakhouse chain. The wood-paneled bar, scrawled with caricatures of well-known habitues past and present, is aswarm at cocktail hour with both theatergoers and corporate tipplers hunkered down for the night. It can get frenzied in the dining room, although high-backed wooden booths deflect some of the roar. – – The Food – Palm dry ages its steaks--as opposed to vacuum packing--and the result is evident. True high-end dining at its finest

by MyAngel66

This is one of my favorite restaurants! I recommend this to anyone who truly wants to experience fine dining and feel like a celebrity. The service is always first-class, the food is exquisite and prepared to perfection (they will switch your dish if you don't like it!) and they have the best atmosphere! Perfect if you want to impress someone or just want to treat yourself to the best dining experience.

  • Pros: Great food and service
  • Cons: expensive

Great for a Special Occasion

by readingbucsmaynard

Our family truly enjoys the Palm. We have dined at 7 different Palm locations and have yet to be disappointed. We have tried many others Peter Luger's, Ben Bensen, Sparks, DelFrisco's, Ruth Chris, Christ Cella, Shula's, Keen's Chop House, Morton's, Gallaghers, and while each had something to offer the Palm has been our overall favorite. We went for our anniversary and the hostess greeted us with "Happy Anniversary". We had reservations on a Saturday evening and were seated immediately. The shrimp cocktail was huge, the steaks were done as requested, my son said the french fries were "the best", creamed spinach was excellent, and the desserts were tasty and huge. (We ended up with enough chocolate cake to take home for the next day. The wait staff was very eficent and knowledgable. The manager took time to visit with us and to add his "Happy Anniversary" wishes. I would hope you would try the Palm West Side, and I feel confident you will have a great time, with a super meal.

  • Pros: Steaks, Shrimp Cocktail Single Malt Scotch selections
  • Cons: Not Cheap
