No longer exists. Thanks, citysearch. I went to this place after finding it on "Best of Citysearch" and I arrived to find an abandoned building. Bliss bar no longer exists!

Good midtown east after work spot. Went there after work over the summer and enjoyed a great happy hour. Young, busy scene, good for catching a drink with coworkers.

Worse custmer service. I went on Thursday night to celebrate my friends birthday and we experienced the worse that could happen to someone that loves skotch. At the bar they did not have Johnnie Walker (Black Label). Now what kind of bar does not have that kind of whiskey. We ordered calamari and they brought us calamari on oil, yes it was that greasy. I really had a bad experience at this place and I would not recommend it to anyone.

Good scene, food, etc.. This bar is really good for after work drinks. There is a good mix of demographics....mid 20's to late 30's.

frequent visitor. Bliss is in my neighborhood, so i go there a lot when i need to escape the b&t that frequent the other bars in the locale. It's excellent for happy hour or when you're looking for a place to get just a few drinks, but i wouldn't plan on spending most of a night there. The crowd is average but the service is excellent and prices are typical. A table upstairs near the front (which they open weather-permitting) is a great place to grab a couple of drinks with a date. The downstairs is more lit up than i'd expect in any bar.

Good Experience. This place isn't the greatest atmosphere but the happy hour works. You definitely get your money's worth. Staff was pleasant; no complaints. Will go back again.

Can't Miss Birthday Celebration Spot. With a great staff and friendly inviting atmosphere, Bliss was the perpect location for our group birthday celebration. As soon as you walk through the doors of this upscale two level lounge the party begins and you are treated the way you feel like you should be treated but, hardly ever are in New York bars and lounges. The staff goes out of their way to make you feel at home. Bliss was the perfect event space to help make our birthday party memorable.

HOLIDAY PARTY. WE CELEBRATED OUR THIRD CONSECUTIVE HOLIDAY PARTY LAST NIGHT AND THE STAFF WERE EXTREMELY ACCOMODATING. THIS IS THE MOST HOSPITABLE EVENT SPACE OUR OFFICE HAS EVER USED. I HAVE RECOMMENDED BLISS TO OTHER LAW OFFICES AND ALL MY COLLEAGUES HAVE HAD SIMILAR PLEASANT EXPERIENCES. TO ALL THE PEOPLE AT BLISS, THANKS AGAIN.

PERFECT EVENT SPACE. After using Bliss Bar and Lounge for five or six corporate events over the past two years I decided to use them for my wife's 30th birthday last week. I can not say enough about how wonderful they are to deal with. While all of our trading-desk parties went off without a hitch I really appreciated their level of service for my wife's party. Also, I thought my party package was discounted because the amount of business my firm has given to them over the years. However, after looking on their web pages I see that their prices are always that reasonable.

MIDTOWN'S BEST. BLISS HAS ALWAYS BEEN OUR FAVORITE AFTER WORK SPOT. OTHER PLACES HAVE POPPED UP AND BEEN HYPED UP BUT BLISS STILL CRUISES ALONG AS THE MOST RELIABLE AFTER WORK WATERING HOLE. The most reasonable drink and party packages in midtown. Some of the prices in the surrounding lounges are twice that of Bliss.
