Larger than the Old Office and smaller than the cavernous main space, the unadorned Tap Bar hosts a range of events, from literary readings to indie rock record releases to Super Bowl parties. With a tiny stage set in the corner, the emphasis easily shifts from the varied performers to the bar, and extra seating invites more chatting and drinking than other rooms within the Knitting Factory.

this tap room has an excellent suggestion of beers and a good bartender to help you ....it doesn't get as crowded as the upstairs as few people know about it...you have to talk downstairs and you will find it. i like it to chill....especially before a show upstairs or at the playshop
