“The Cinema 4/d was really cool, I wasn't sure what to expect (1st timer) but they were showing a shorter version of Polar Express in 3D but the seats moved with the movie, snow and wind blew, the scent of hot chocolate.”
“Its great place to visit.”
“It has many different rooms featuring many different famous people.”
“Warning - Way overpriced!”
It was a great way to spend our Sunday afternoon. Everyone in our 2 families loved the place. Soooo much to see and do. Worth the price to go at least once.
Great for out of towners. My cousins were in town, so I figured we'd do all the touristy things I never do here. This was fun. A little expensive, but I would def recommend it as part of a tourist afternoon.
Madame Tausades. I go here every few years. A perfect place to hybernate in the rain. You get to see wax figures of numerous celebrities in a party room at cocktail hour. I saw Julia Roberts, Barack Pbama, Brad Pott, Angelina Jolie, Susan Surrandon, Jodie Foster, Michelle Pfeiffer I think, Elle McPhearson, Paris Hilton, (eventhough I met that snob for real) Jessica Simpson, Lindsay Lohan, The Olsen Twins, Britney Spears, Hannah Montana, NSYNC, Backstreet Boys, Spice Girls, J.Lo, Jonas Brothers, Bon Jovi, Gloria Estefan, Jackie Kennedy's ghost, Hillary and Bill Clinton, Lincoln, Washington, Rosa Parks, Hellen Keller, Leonardo DiCaprio, Kate Winslet, The channel 4 news/weather people, and even Ivanka Trump..................
Great place to visit. Its great place to visit. I found a coupon from bestdeals4me and saved $$$
Way over priced!!!!!. I wasn't excited about this but my my friend had gone and said she wanted to see it again. We coincedentally got coupons for $6.00 off but when we get there the price is 35, then minus the 6 plus tax left us paying 31.95. We weren't asked if we wanted to see some 4d show so we ended up going to it which was a 15 minute movie about ocean life and a whale.....what???? Not to mention our entrance tickets said museum of sex...weird but that maybe would have made it better.
Take Friends. What a blast. We did have a few drinks before going in but it turned into a great night. We took a ton of pictures and joked and laughed about them for a week. A bit pricy through the door but the value really is in the art work. True likenesses, varied genre, family friendly, modern celebrities, even met President Obama. The place goes on for miles even saw a movie at the end. No hidden costs and lots of fun.
Best place to see celebs!. I visited this museum with my best friend on my birthday last summer. We took hundreds of pictures with celebrities like Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, Donald Trump, Christina Aguilera, Marilyn Monroe, Johnny Depp etc. My favorite figure is Julia Roberts. The wax figures look so real and sometimes I wonder if they are real people. We had a great time here and will definitely come back again. It was a lovely birthday present from my best friend.
Great date place!. I went here on a date and we had a wonderful time. It's a great place to go with a signifcant other to take pictures, talk and laugh. My favorite part was the 3d movie theatre. I love the movie and all the special effects. If you have kids this would be an awesome place even as a family event.
Loooved It!. I didn't expect it to be so much fun, the idea of a wax musuem?? My friends talked me into it and we had a blast. The price was to be expected, it is Times Square and you can't even split a burger at the TGIFridays for that in Times Square, so all in all worth it. There are coupons out there. We took tons of pictures, everything looked really lifelike and it was cool to stand next all the figures at their actual size. The Cinema 4/d was really cool, I wasn't sure what to expect (1st timer) but they were showing a shorter version of Polar Express in 3D but the seats moved with the movie, snow and wind blew, the scent of hot chocolate...its was definately worth doing!
Great NYC Attraction!. What a fun time my family had here. The exhibits looked so real and they had familiar faces for kids & adults to enjoy. It's located in the heart of Times Square so it made it easy for us to see other things on our schedule. There was a savings coupon on these pages as well which made it even better. Highly Recommended!
