I was part of a party of 6 ladies brunching on a Saturday afternoon at the Eatery. The bartender & waiter were a real treat and gave great drink/entree suggestions. Unfortunately, one of the meals was incorrect. By the time the mistake was rectified all diners were nearly done with our meals. When the bill did arrive and I saw that the item had not been comped I politely requested that it be removed. Our waiter sent over the host/manager since it was not within his authority to adjust our bill. When I (very politely) requested that the item be removed (and the mgr knew why since he was the one who took my friends plate back to the kitchen to be corrected) his response was, "She ate it, right?" I said, "Well, yes, but it didn't arrive until most of us were already done with our meals." His disingenuous response was, "She ate it. Have a nice day." He then turned on his heel and walked away. I was taken aback to say the least. The food was OK, but to treat customers with such disregard, when they're spending money at an establishment in a city where there are thousands of restaurants to choose from is really appalling. I would not return under the current management and I would not suggest this restaurant to anyone. The lack of tact this man has leads me to believe he should not be the first person people see when they arrive or the last person they see before they exit.

great seafood but the beefs my favorite. im definitely a huge advocate of latin cuisine, and i must say im a believer of this place now! great clams, but the steak is my favorite. great seaoning , cooked exactly the way you ask for it no complaints here.

You just cannot go wrong. Now I usually feel funny saying out loud that I'm a foodie since it doesn't go with my swaaaag, but Eatery always fixes that for me. It's impossible for them to mess seafood up: calamari, salmon, mussels, scallops....IMPOSSIBLE TO MESS UP! Steaks ain't bad neither. Good drinks. I'd give 5 stars but the service can be come and go depending on who you get. One of my reliable go-to's in the city though.

Rude...Rude..Rude!.
We went there on Saturday to celebrate my wife's birthday. When I made the reservation they said it was ok for a stroller but they never mentioned they would be seating us at the far-end corner of the restaurant next to the kitchen past restrooms. The place looked isolated from the rest of the crowd and they had many tables available with plenty of space next to them. They just insisted we sat there.
Very rude management with a very little flexibility when it comes to couples with babies!
We have been going out since our baby was 6-month old and we were never been treated like this before!

Great food, great ambiance. Eatery is one of these places where you can't go wrong when you can't decide where to go. Food and drinks are great. Last time I went, they had a roasted duck mac'n cheese on special that was to die for. I suggested to them that they should have it on the regular menu. The staff is always nice and ready to help. This place is definitely a good pick for pre or post theater. You won't be disappointed

Best of Hell's Kitchen.
Our latest experience at Eatery was the best yet. We get to NYC every month, and have experienced numerous restaurants in the Theater District, but Eatery is by far our favorite.
Last weekend when we visited, the 10-minute wait to be seated was well worth it, as usual. This is just typical of a restaurant that is patronized by so many.
Our drinks were great - the staff is always very attentive.
My wife had Pan Seared Sea Scallops with Asparagus Risotto & Roasted Pepper Vinaigrette. Scallops are her favorite and she has enjoyed them in all the coastal cities we have visited, but these are the best she's had.
I enjoyed the BBQ St. Louis Baby Back Ribs - seasoned just right, and fall off the bone tender.
The portions are filling, and as such we didn't enjoy any dessert this evening.
Overall, Eatery is our first choice when in NYC - hands down. You won't be disapointed.

Great Food and Service for a Wide Range of Eaters.
I had family in from out of town and thought Eatery would be a good option for some picky eaters. Everyone in our party of 6 was completely pleased!! Amazing for my family.
We started with the calamari and hummus -- both were absolutely delicious. I had the Asian chicken salad and while it was huge, I ate almost every bite. Our waitress was really lovely and gave great menu suggestions to everyone. We shared three desserts...all good, the cheesecake was our favorite.
Will be back soon for sure!

Something for Everyone.
I dined at Eatery last night and could not have had a nicer experience. The other times I had been there it was very busy, and while the service and food were equally as stellar, I prefer the quiet Monday evening with an old friend.
Back to the restaurant, I had the tempura calamari (which I cannot pass the opportunity everytime) and Pastrami-style Salmon.....amazing, who knew? I can never seem to save room for dessert....
The service was also fantastic as always and I thought it was about that time to give back to Eatery, their "just desserts" in the form of a good review.

Was my go-to!. Eatery was one of my go-to brunch places, because of the ambiance, food, and location. My friends and I are frequent brunch goers, so we like to try new places. I've been to some newer establishments recently that really wow'ed us, but I still love the food here- and we always have a great time at Eatery, so I'd def. recommend going at least once! Only downside is that there is sometimes a long wait time to be seated.
