Things have changed for the better!!!!!!!!!. I was a regular at the old location on 3rd avenue and have recently moved to 2nd avenue and to my surprise so did Finnerty's. It used to be a great NYU hangout but now it is NYU plus an older age group. Great place to meet new people. Still the very relaxed fun. With a few great additions like a pool table and the best photo booth. I have become the fan of the PBR tall boys. The bartenders are the best . I am so glad to be back in town and have Finnertys at my door step. Check it out. You will love it!!!!!!!!!

A crowd dominated by NYU students and young professionals gets rowdy at this one-time dive for old-timey regulars, but mixed drinks served in pint glasses make it worthwhile no matter who you are.. In Short
Since relocating from 3rd Avenue to 2nd Avenue, this dive bar has shed its old-man-pub vibe and doubled in size. Pop and classic rock music blasts from an MP3 jukebox as neighborhood regulars and NYU undergrads play foosball, shoot pool, watch sports and throw darts. While there are plenty of activities to keep patrons busy, it's the cheap booze and mixed drinks served in pint glasses that keep them coming back for more.

Hits: The laid-back feel, friendly bartenders and cheap pitchers of beer are a nice alternative to some of the neighborhood's more overpriced lounges.

Misses: The smell of stale beer, too-loud music and largely collegiate crowd give the distinctive feel of a frat party--minus the free drinks.

LET THE GOOD TIMES ROLL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. WITH FINNISH/ENGLISH/ITALIAN OWNERS, IS THIS BAR IRISH???? HELL YEAH!!!!! THE BEST OF ALL WORLDS!! WHATEVER YOU WANT, THEY HAVE. GREAT PLACE TO PLAY AND SOCIALIZE. NOT TO MENTION ALL THE FLAT SCREEN TV 'S WHICH ALWAYS HAVE THE GREAT GAMES ON!!!! LOVE THE $3.00 SHOT SPECIAL EVERY NIGHT AND THE $3.00 PINTS. AFTER A HARD DAYS WORK , THIS IS A PERFECT PLACE TO LET LOOSE.!!!!

great beer selection/good fun/great music. Just sit back and relax here. The staff is great. The beers are priced right and a wide selection. We played pool and foose ball for a $1.00. We only were having a beer and stayed all night. This is our new place and we love it. I have come to love the PBR tall boys with a shot of whiskey. Good Special!!! Thanks Finnerty's. You got my heart and liver.

Thank God I found you again!!!!!!!!!!!!!. Been out of the area and to my surprise my favorite bar moved from third ave to second ave . But thank God nothing has changed. That means great low prices and excellent staff and a little Italian owner. But one thing that changed is the space. Now I can play pool and foose ball. More fun. Thanks for going bigger.

Best Pints Special In Town!!!!!!!!!. Whoever stops here will not want to leave. $2.00 Pints of Bud and Bud Light from opening till closing. I brought a bunch of friends and we came all the way from the west side uptown. We are big fooseball players and heard about this bar. The staff are really fun. The door guys are very friendly. This is our new place to go on the weekends. So look out eastside the westside is moving in!!!!!!!!!!!!

Pint Glass Heaven. Thats what my girlfriend said. $1.00 Pints of Bud and Bud light Thursday night from 10pm till 1am. We are going this week. And I ordered a stoli blueberry and soda and that came in a pint. That is Heaven. Not to mention the foose ball table and very friendly bartenders. This one is a keeper for us. Thanks

Good times, good friends, good drinks in pint glasses. What more can I say the mixed drinks come in pint glasses. FInnerty's brings out the best in all of us. The bartenders are so much fun, the crowd is always bustling. The vibe is just let's have fun. My friends and I make it a destination every time we have a night out.

THANKS FOR COMING BACK!!!!!!!!!!!. Thank God the home of the $2.00 pint is back. Found out through word of mouth and beer. It's like being home in my castle but a bigger one. Me and my gal pals are so addicted to the hunting machine. The PBR and WHISKEY Special is the best. Please don't leave again.

Fantasy Land For All. You walk in and you can play pool, foose ball, darts and 2 great video games and watch TV. And the pints are only $2.00 all day and all night. This place is a great bar. there is room for everyone. Thanks Finnerty's for being there.
