Small but clean room. I just spent the night at this comfort inn, my husband and the room we shared ,was small, about 12x 10. My main concern however was cleanliness and it was very clean. I pulled back the bed coverings immediately and checked for evidence of bedbugs, there were none so despite the size of the room i felt comfortable staying there. The small bathroom with full tub and shower was also very clean. The staff were very pleasant and when I asked about getting a cab, the gentleman just told me to call the desk when I was ready and he would get it for me. I loved the neighborhood, tons of restaurants around and very short walk to central park. Only drawback, the size of the rooms.

THE WORST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. COST 200.00 THE CLOSET HAD TWO ROOMS ONE JUST BIG ENOUGH FOR A SINGLE BED AND THE WINDOW AIR CONDITIONER THAT DID NOT COOL THE ROOM. THE DEAD R...CH IN THE MINISCULE SHOWER ROOM,,,,,,,NO TUB,,,,,,WAS BIG ENOUGH,,,,IT PROBABLY DIED WHEN SOMEONE PUT A SADDLE ON IT AND RODE IT TO DEATH. tHE WOMEN ASKED MY SON IF HE COULD CARRY IT TO HER. ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!!!! tHE SECOND ROOM WAS JUST BIG ENOUGH FOR TEH FULL SIZE BED. OH YEAH IT DID HAVE A COFFEE URN AND AN OLD IRONING BOARD. MY SON SAID HE SAW AN EXCERCISE ROOM WITH TWO PIECES OF EQUIPMENT. I NEVER SAW A POOL BUT THERE COULD HAVE BEEN ONE. THATS PROBABLY WHERE MY BATHTUB WENT. I WAS TOLD IT HAD A FOUR STAR RATING. WELL IF IT IS THEN A THREE STAR MUST BE A CARDBOARD BOX AND A COLD CHOCALATE. i PAID 80.00 TO PARK TWO BLOCKS AWAY FOR A DAY AND AHALF. WHEN I ASK FOR A CAB TO BE CALLED EVEN THOUGH I;M HANDICAPPED I WAS TOLD TO WLAK UP TO COLUMBUS ST. OR AVE AND TRY TO STOP A CAB..

jp2096. This was a bargain at $60 per night (but add~15 for standard taxes). SMALL rooms but clean. Great location, far enough away from the tourist crowds but close enough to walk there or take a bus/train. You might miss the entrance b/c (it's currently under a scaffold and) it is located unobtrusively in the middle of the rustic NY apartments. Loved the deli on 72 and Columbus that seems to be open 'til late.

SAVE YOURSELF. TERRIBLE. Don't stay here if you want to enjoy your time in the city. I booked a room for my visiting relatives, & it was a disaster. The reservation was screwed up, and the hotel staff did not even acknowledge they may have made a mistake. In the end, I was forced to check out and have my family stay in my tiny apartment (still better than a smoky miniscule room I paid $200+ for). To top it off, even though Comfort Inns have 100% guarantee, they will only give me a 50% refund!

Great for the Money!. This is a great place to stay for the money. Rooms are small but very clean and nice. Plus continental breakfast incld. Request a room facing the street for a window or you won't know the time of day! This hotel is in a quiet neighborhood on the westside. 1/2 block from central park and a block from the subway. There's a lot of great restaurants, shops deli's, etc. 1 block away on Columbus Ave. We loved it. 1 inconvenience is only 1 elevator. Try and stay on 2nd 0r 3rd floor.
