Pure Luxury and Great Drinks. I thought this was a great lounge to romance my date. I booked the night through AccessGotham and it was even free. These guys do right by me every time. I had free bottle service so when all my friends showed up later. We were all good.

Fraud Bar. do not trust this place!!! check your credit card statement when you get home.

they like to double charge patrons-once from the floor (a waitress) and once from the bar. do not trust them or their management.

these people are lying dirtbags, and you will only get recourse by calling your credit card company and reporting the fraud, which is what i had to do.

Good for tourists who like the hype. Its your typical "too cool for you" overpriced lounge. The drinks are good, so you do get what you pay for, provided the waitress doesn't walk off and forget you exist. Honestly, with so many awesome bars in Manhattan, there is no excuse for blowing you money at this place.

Cheesy crowd, over-priced. With so many options for socializing in this area, Wet Bar is not even a close contender. The venue is quite small, and fills up quickly causing the bar to be 2-3 people deep. Staff was friendly, which was really the only redeeming factor. The clientele was trying way too hard which was clear through the ill fitting clothing choices, over-gelled hair, and caked on make-up. If you are looking for a chill, upscale place to have a few drinks and listen to some good music, definitely choose some place else.

Editorial Review. A swanky lounge draws midtown professionals willing to drop dough.

Comfortable, low key, accommodating. I'm not sure what was so wet about it, but Liz said it was one of her favorite Drink Club bars: S*xy decor, (I'm not kidding! Citysearch censored the word!) upscale, relaxed, with music, but not too loud for conversation. For me, it was a bit on the pricey side. $9 beer! That's strip club prices! I've got to give it to the staff though, they were accommodating and friendly, in a professional way. Attractive too. (I thought the bartender looked like that guy on CHEERS, but everyone else disagreed.)

The bar is very red, and softly lit. (I needed a candle to see the bill-- not to read it, just to see it.) The male clientele is extremely muscular, and the woman are a lot whiter than I'm used to. Still, it was a mellow night, extremely unsleazy considering the lighting. Not bad at all. --DrinkClubnyc is a roving group of NYC drinkers

hottest bartender. when you go to wet bar, you know that the bill will be high... is it worth it? YES!!!

You will find yourself in a great crowd, get the best service and get a great made drink.

Is it overprised? maybe... it depends on how much you can spend... One thing is for sure,

Andrew "the best bartender "is not only cute to see, one of the best bartenders, but most of all, the nicest bartender you will ever meet in NYC.... Only that is a reason to visit Wet Bar... Especially because andrews friend hang out alot there as well, and they're just as great..!!!

still going??. I stopped in Wetbar the other night to meet a friend for a drink, have not been there in years and could not beleive its still going strong. The staff is hotter than ever and the place had a really good crowd. Its definitely a little pricey for Murray Hill but worth it since there is nothing else like it in the area. The bartenders were making some pretty cool drinks.... We ended up staying a bit longer than planned, turned out to be a great night

Hot!. Went to the Wet Bar June 2007 and I loved it! It's a hot spot, nice atmosphere, nice people, good music and friendly staff. Drinks were expensive but so what? I had a great time there and plan to go back again this week.
