The Scene – With multi-colored sofas like jelly blocks, 24-foot video screens and a mysterious blue balloon sculpture suspended above the lounge, the former tennis court of the Health Racquet Club has morphed into the stunning new watering hole above Bowlmor Lanes. Very disapointing. Bouncer did not appear as a bouncer.

Before I went to pressure I called to ask about dresscode and other info. The dress code was "CASUAL" When I got there about 10pm. This "bouncer" who did not appear as a bouncer told my friend he could not get in because his pants were too loose at the bottom. He said my friend was "too too too casual" WTF? I did not even know that this guy was a bouncer, he had dirty pants on, tore up shoes, raggy shirt, nasty beard, in others words, not presentable at all. EVERY LOUNGE HAS A BOUNCER IN A SUIT OR BLAZER. I was disgusted. How could he turn down a clean cut man down from a club when he looked a drunken construction worker pirate. My B-day was ruin. Pressure is WACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

very cool club/lounge

I went to Pressure the other night and had a great time. If you are looking for a club/lounge atmosphere, it is a great place to go. Beautiful space, nice crowd, and great music. I just bought tickets to the New Years Eve party at Pressure on www.NearCorner. com. It should be a great party.

Worst party you can ever go to!!!!

I went here on Halloween this year. They were so disorganized. They had people buy tickets in advance (to guarantee fast and easy admission) Those people waited on line for hours to get in and they were letting people in whether or not they had tickets. They kept on changing the prices for the tables and bottles. The place was almost empty because they weren't letting people in. Never go here for any party. Drinks are overpriced and watered down.

New Years 2009!

I love this place!! Everytime I come here I have the best time with my friends. It's such a great place to unwind and let loose! I was here for New Years last year and got my tickets through JoonBug and they hooked it up!! I'm definitely coming back again this New Years and getting tickets from JoonBug again!

I actually worked here as a bartender a while ago and it was kind of weird that the manager - Peter - didn't even remember me. He was very rude to me and my friends especially when my friend had booked the party 2 weeks in advance and shelled out a lot of money for this place. The place is awesome and the few bartenders that I still recognized were friendly. Everybody had fun, but booking the party was pricey.
