In Short – Early on, this local mini-chain earned a reputation for its loud bar scene. There's still an active social life centered around the bar, but the restaurant has mellowed out, and in the early evening, you'll find families and less youthful folks who have come for the food. All the barbecue is smoked in-house over hickory, and the ribs come in three varieties: Northern (sweet), Southern (spicy) and dry rub.

Good Old BBQ
by crazyman29
Nice college crowd and bbq. The ribs are very tasty and so is the pulled pork sandwich. However, I would probably pass on the shrimp po boy. Just a no-nonsense restaurant where you can relax and have some good eats and drink.
- Pros: Good BBQ. College crowd.
- Cons: Small place.
Great Place for a Birthday!
by Rockedyou
I went here for my birthday that happened to be on a tuesday night and it was awesome!! They had karaoke so right away I was hooked. The waitress was so nice she gave me a complimentary fish bowl drink for my bday complete with an alligator in it! Everyone was totally chill and you can act and do pretty much whatever and you wont feel out of place or that your being too loud. I would highly recomend this for an awesome place to go with a group or to mingle with the locals of the upper west side.
- Pros: Excellent Wait Stafff, great atomosphere, karaoke tuesdays rock
- Cons: bartender wasnt very quick other than that it was great
