Great facility, well run, a true escape from your daily dose of morons. I've received 3 massages at Eden, and each time I ask for more pressure, and each time they deliver. Part of this is likely because my wife, who reserves the massages, requests a Swedish massage, while I like the deep tissue massage. The environment is superb, they offer you food after the massage, and allow you to remain in the lounge chairs surrounded by tropical greenery and water features. I am more comfortable in the place than any others I have gone to in Manhattan. Excellent, and I highly recommend.

Best Facials and Massages Ever. I'm in New York City about twice a year or so and my first official activity is a trip to Eden Day Spa (usually with one of my daughters) where I have a body scrub or massage and always followed by my usual AgeLoc facial. I have my regular facialist who cleanses, exfoliates and treats my face in a way that leaves me glowing. The staff is always accomodating, warm, friendly and professional and my trip to NYC would not be complete without a visit there. After my spa treatment, I settle in for a nice healthy lunch of shrimp and vegetable pasta prepared by their on-site chef....Heaven. If you want first class pampering at an affordable price, Eden Day Spa is definitely the spot. I love this place.

My FAVORITE!. I regularly get pedicures at Eden. It's like a mini-vacation. The pedicure takes about 1 hour and every minute is a delight. First, a soak in a flower petal and lemon slice-strewn tub, then, remove old polish, trim nails, trim cuticles, massage feet with a sandy massage cream, scrub to clear away calluses, followed by a wonderful leg massage, a hot towel wrap for your feet, and lastly, the nail polish. Each step is done with great care and the pedicurist is always checking on your comfort:

Best day spa in all of NY.
I found this place five years ago after trying so many different places in and out of NYC and havent gone anywhere else. It is by far the best place for a massage, facial and body scrub I have ever had. The therapists are professional, accomodating and really know how to get the knots out.
The mani / pedi is good but not out of this world for the price.
If youre looking for a nice, relaxing, relatively inexpensive, clean spa this is your place.

HORRIBLE.
I went yesterday for 1.30hr massage and 30min reflexology. The massage was beyond horrible. A woman used so much pressure that i felt more tensed than relaxed. I have a horrible pain right now on my neck and arm, i can't move my neck at all and actually just made an appt with doctor to see what the hell she did to me. The room was so tiny and there were cockroaches running on the floor. It looked like the woman didn't know what she was doing and she was very rough and in a rush. Many time I think she was touching inappropriately which was just humiliating.
DON"T GO TO THIS PLACE.

Awesome Massage!. I absolutely loved the massage I received here. For $88 it was a total steal! I told the massage therapist to focus on my upper back since I had a lot of pain and tension there. She listened to my needs and by the end of the massage, I could not believe how much better I felt. She was very strong and when I asked her to use less pressure on other parts of my body, she did exactly as I asked. After the massage I had tea and was able to eat lunch for free. The lounging area was really nice and relaxing and I was allowed to hang out as long as I wanted to which made the experience even better. I will without a doubt be back here soon!

I feel GOOD (duh-na-na-na-na-na!).
Me and my bf received a couple's massage and it was amazing. My back feels great. I also really enjoyed the "private time" after the massage with the champagne and fruit and chocolates. We were also served a complementary lunch. It was well worth the money.
The robes could be a little longer...

Fabulous. beautiful facility! Some constructive critisism : robes are short, sitting area is wonderful with fountain and bamboo but while eating lunch thay were trimming toenails during a pedicure in the same area. We relocated our seat. For a first time customer, I was surprised the spa did not interview me or fill out a questionairre about medical conditions. Despite these observationsn I would definately return to Eden !

REALLY NICEE!. just yesterday i decided to come to eden for a manicure pedicure. i read all the great reviews and decided to try it out. They were SOOO right about this place i had a great time here. i was surprised that the spa was this big (certainly couldnt tell from the outside...)they brought me to a different area to have my manipedi done and they had mini tvs so i could watch. i received my pedicure first and while having that soakin in the water i was able to enjoy my comp lunch and my fruits and crackers. i had the french pedi and french mani it was perfect! the technician had very steady hands and made sure they came out very pretty x] they had hand bowls to to wash off my hands and they exfoliated my fingers... never had that done before. but i would have to say my fingers are very soft after that and of course i loved the mini hand massage that i received with my mani. everythin felt soo relaxing especially when they gave me a reflexology as well!!! i almost fell asleep during my pedicure... after everything they allowed me to use the facilities as well. i stayed in the lounge for hrs just relaxing and using the sauna and showers. it was great! i would definitly come back next time. LOVE THIS PLACE!
