love it!.
How much do I love the Barnes & Noble on 6th ave and 8th street? Lots – its got three levels loaded with books, and the flow and layout of the store means that I never feel crowded, which what I want in a book store. But the staff is also super helpful. This weekend I was there looking for the Hunger Games, and as much as I would like to say it was for my nephew, it’s for me! Anyway, it was sold out, but the staff called around, and has a copy waiting for me in the Union Square store, right around the block from work.
So all I have to do is slide in today, pick it up and grab some lunch. I love the fact that the staff at Barnes & Noble goes above and beyond when it comes to helping you find what you’re looking for – and getting it! They also give great advice, one of them suggested Freedom by Jonathan Franzen -I took a chance and I love it.
An easy-access resource for books of any stripe, with impressive children's, business and bestseller sections..
