Amazing Organic Salon!

I came to Jane with a mess of black over-processed mangled, and botched hair. My experience at Grace Heaven Salon was fantastic! Jane was honest, witty and highly intelligent about my hair, organic products and what I needed to do to repair the mess I brought to her. She gave me amazing color that fits my skin tone and gave me an incredible cut. Jane is a true artist and an expert at her craft. I will only go to Grace Heaven Salon from now on and I only wish I had gone to them sooner. I highly recommend this fabulous organic salon!

this woman needs to learn about customer service. she tries very hard to portray herself as a village hippy type (giving out optimism pins... puh-lease! what a joke she is not "optimistic") but she is BITTER,BITCHY, ABUSIVE, DISGUSTING, MEAN, and worst of all A BAD HAIRDRESSER!!!! I really tried to like this place because it is a cute hole in the wall- I went 3 times. jane did my blonde highlights the first two times, and had to FIX it up afterwards both times because she COULDN'T get it right the first time. she gave me a very hard time and was MEAN and horrific about having to fix up her bad job! the last time I was there I went to Yuki- who ALSO did a bad job on my highlights, and refused to fix it for me when i pointed out that i had just payed for highlights, and still have noticeable roots... WTF... its almost laughable. I will NEVER go back here again and neither should you. this place seriously sucks and I hope it closes down.

Unfortunately, I have to agree with the negative reviews I've read here about this place. I too wanted to like this place, but I am disappointed to say the least and I can't believe I spent so much money on such a terrible cut.

Don't Go There!!

It pains me to give this woman even 1 star. I went to Jane hoping to find a fabulous place where I could get the "safest" color. She did an absolutely terrible job with my color howevver. Brassy highlights, and just an overall botched job. She offered to fix it for me which I appreciated. However, just as I thought, when I arrived she proceeded to tell me how much better my hair looked now compared to the first visit and she did nothing wrong . This did not surpirse me in the least because from my previous visit I knew she was a person who would never take responsiblity for anything - always blaming someone else. She did proceed to fix it and because I was grateful she did with no charge I said I would return for a haircut. She refused to see me again because she thought I was too difficult. (I was never really planning on going back because this woman was extremely rude and abusive to her staff - embarrasing her assistant and talking to him with absolutely no respect ). Save yourself time, expense and aggravation and stay away from this woman.

Awful haircut

My haircut ranks as one of the top five worst cuts of my life.

You know the feeling when you want to cry when you get home.

Jane cut my hair and she did not pay attention to what I asked for and basically hacked away at my hair. If anything it seems as if she did the exact opposite of what I asked for. My hair is a mess and will take quite some time to recover from this nightmare cut.

The concept is great, the staff is charming, the atmosphere is down to earth, but the professional execution is just not there.
